Enhance Your Teaching Skills with Professional Development Opportunities

Our courses provide teachers and other education professionals with the chance to develop both personally and professionally.

By participating in our Erasmus+ courses, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on practical projects and activities leading to an increased understanding of a range of different cultures. Though these courses have been designed to cater for the professional development needs of Erasmus+ Projects, all educators are very welcomed to participate.

Research Backed Professional Developement

The courses employ educational methodologies that are at the heart of all our professional development opportunities. They encourage the growth of skills such as, empathy and active listening; curiosity and life-long learning; analytical thinking; creativity; critical thinking; problem-solving; resilience; environmental stewardship and leardership etc.

In the 2023 World Ecomic Forum's Future of Jobs Report these skills were highlighted as some of the most important, and useful, transferable skills with a view to the future of employment opportunities.

Fully Customised Courses

We provide both planned teacher training courses and teacher training courses upon request. Both types of courses are fully customised for the teachers taking part in the course. We consider their background, experience, educational environment, concerns and what outcomes they require from the course.

Our Courses focus on the latest research and practical workshops, not only in our main training location but also, in historical, cultural and outdoor locations where we can experiment with the different methodologies and pedagogy as the basis of our courses. Some of these sites are UNESCO Heritage Sites.

Some of the topics covered are:

  • STEAM

  • Engaging Science Learning

  • Engaging History Learning

  • PBL & Active Learning

  • Outdoor Learning

  • Well-being

  • Girls in STEAM and other equal opportunities issues in the fair access to education and jobs

  • Gamification and similar methodologies

  • Robotics and Programming

  • AI and other Emerging Technologies
